QSI Settlement Agreement

On January 16, 2025, the Department of Labor provided a press release that in part referenced QSI, among several other companies.  In the announcement, comments made regarding the QSI agreement were misrepresented.  On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, QSI, in good faith, entered into a voluntary agreement with the Department of Labor to settle an ongoing investigation.

The settlement contains no admission by QSI of any violations.  QSI joined this agreement only after the Department of Labor’s sixteen-month investigation found zero underage individuals onsite or working at QSI.  This settlement was in no way an admission of any violation, rather as way of mitigating litigation and thereby allowing the partnership between business and government to proceed.

The QSI settlement is different from others mentioned within the original release.  The QSI agreement is voluntary and does not contain a consent order and judgement, as with QSI competitors.  QSI maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any employment of underage workers.  QSI continues to take extensive steps to ensure that our hiring practices are fully compliant, as we serve our customers with integrity and excellence.
