Zeco receives its 6th environmental award from Texas city
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The City of Grand Prairie, Texas recently presented an award to Zeco (Zee Company) for its commitment to environmental compliance.
The city, for the sixth time, gave Zeco the “Environmental Compliance Achievement Award.” Mayor Ron Jensen and City Councilmember Jorja Clemson presented the award to Zeco’s Grand Prairie Plant Manager Clarence Lloyd who emphasized his team’s focus on safety, health, and the environment.
This award is an honor bestowed upon businesses or organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to environmental regulations and practices, highlighting their efforts to minimize pollution and maintain high standards of environmental compliance within the city.
Zeco’s Grand Prairie plant is also celebrating eight consecutive years of zero lost time injuries further emphasizing the team’s commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
